So many posts! We're getting better at this right? right?
You don't have to answer that

Anyway, here is another installment in the story of our lives entitled "wishing we were on the streets of Paris wearing a Givenchy Rottweiler tee, but rather we are studying for year 12 exams"

The following is a list of insightful things we learnt whilst pondering these images:

a) Nicolette & I are literally in love with those Balenciaga boots
b) Dolce & Gabbana has created the most adorable collection... ever.
*see: lady-like florals, doilies, tapestry, cherubs, omg
c) If we don't own a communal Givenchy Rottweiler jumper/tee/bag (haha tea bag sorry my apologies) in the next 6 months there will be problems
d) Spending hours envying street style snaps is a lot more beneficial than actually reading a textbook

Hope you're having a more exciting weekend than we are!

3.1 Phillip Lim S/S 2013

Are we in New York right now?  No.  Are we attending Fashion Week?  Well, obviously not.  Are we leading boring, mundane lives, that will only get worse in the upcoming months?  Yes.  Are we going to complain about it for the rest of this post?  Definitely not.

Instead, lets take some time to appreciate how brilliant the 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring/Summer 2013 Collection is.  I am not going to lie, I was absolutely green with envy when I logged onto Instagram and saw all the slightly blurry pictures of the runway show from the very lucky people who were attending the show.  But that's beside the point.  The collection oozes effortlessness and for lack of a better word, is so so so cool.  It's a little but grunge-y but the bright pink reminds me of a dress one of my old Barbie dolls used to wear; it's fair to say I'm sold.  Here are some pictures so you can judge for yourself.  Leave us your thoughts in the comment section below!

'Soot' you say?  Have we been watching Mary Poppins lately?  Have we recently gotten new jobs as chimney sweeps to make some extra cash to buy those magnificent Balenciaga heels?

No, we haven't.

On the contrary, we have discovered Soot , the label by Edwina Sinclair, based in Brisbane.  There is nothing better than a pretty, easy-to-wear jumpsuit for spring, and Soot have so graciously created such a jumpsuit for us.  Their 'All Sorts' Spring 13 collection is nothing short of pretty and lovely and pretty and lovely, so good we complimented it twice.

As you can see I am beginning to develop a sick obsession and strange fascination with sunglasses.  Although it's spring here in Melbourne, the wind and rain yesterday made me question my safety (see: Wizard of Oz, house blowing away because of a raging cyclone, etc.) and therefore, I have taken it upon myself to remind myself that summer is on its way by bunching together every pair of sunglasses I want and posting it on here, and now this sentence is really long and I don't know how to end it so I'm going to stop now and wish you all a great day/night etc xx
